Customer Review: Horrible Customer Service
Okay, first off let me say that this TV (when working) has good sound and picture. However, this TV suddenly stopped working about a month after buying it. I called their customer service line since my TV was under warranty, so no big deal right? Wrong. They tell me that they dont have any local repair shops contracted for them and that I will have to pay for shipping to send the TV back to them. Well, my total shipping bill with packaging and the TV weight came to $160 total. Bottom line, when your TV is working, it's a good product. But if you have any problems with it, best of luck to you... because you will get no help from them - period. It's just not worth it, stay away from Olevia.
Customer Review: You get what you pay for...
I've owned this TV for right at 2 years and it started having significant problems not much after the 1 year warranty was up. The red in the picture has gotten progressively worse to the point that no amount of tuning the color's gives what I would call a good picture. In the last couple weeks, the unit has begun to do two things that pretty much put a fork in it. First it will randomly shut off for no apparent reason. That's not the worst though, it also will randomly go to a blue screen and emit a shrill noise at max volume. That'll wake you up. Anyway, if I had to do it again, I would have saved my $1000.

Our memories are a huge part of what make us the way we are. They serve to form our characters through experiences and can very often get lost in a sea of busyness that mean they fade into the background. This life is full of stress and strife so it's very important to hang on to the good times.

This is why we take photos. The advent of photography has to be one of the biggest milestones in human progress - a way of capturing our memories for generations to come. It holds everything as proof of the way we are changing, from our lifestyles and homes to the fashions of the time.

So what do we do with these photos once we have them? Well, we pick out the best and display them proudly for everyone to see in a photo frame. This is more of an important job than many people realise. Photos frames are simple objects. Sometimes decorative and ornate, sometimes plain and functional but they all serve the simple purpose of displaying photos in our homes.

Many people now co-ordinate their photo frames with their decor and it's just one of those little extras that make a house a home. It rarely fails to bring a smile to someone's face when they look at photos, even if it's not their memories, the sight of seeing someone enjoying their life is always heart warming.

Today, things have moved on to the point where we now have digital photo frames. With a very similar look to standard photo frames they have some brilliant built in technology that enables a series of photos to be displayed from a memory card from a computer or digital camera and also via a USB lead or even through a wireless format.

So why choose this format over your standard photo in a frame? Well, for a start, photos printed on paper do not last forever. They become faded or damaged by light and loose some of their appeal. They can also be affected by temperature and climate. A digitally saved photo retains all of its original quality as if it was taken yesterday.

There's also the issue of the amount of photos that can be displayed at any one time. The normal practice would be to get your picture set in its frame and leave it there forever. Homes are getting smaller and space is increasingly limited, therefore you can quickly come to your limit over how many memories you can keep to hand. There's no doubt that once a photo is stuffed into an envelope and into a drawer it's rarely looked at again and that is such a waste.

With a digital photo frame, you can set up your own display method, from flicking between snaps to fading. This means that you can set yourself up a display that rotates through your favourite clips - you could even choose a theme, holidays, babies etc.

Not everyone approves of the way technology moves things forward but in this respect, it can only be a good thing. To keep your memories of good times or loved ones fresh in mind, in the condition they were first captured in, can only be a good thing.
